We, the U.S. & Japan Society of CT, organize volunteer events to beautify our communities through gardening, cleaning, and planting trees.
About this Event

Everyone is welcome to join us in beautifying our communities!

Activity: Weeding, replanting and trimming perennial plants, creating polinator garden, and trimming shrubs of mini-gardens, and sweeping sidewalk of Racial Equity Mural

Location: Underpass and mini-gardens of Founders Bridge on near 237 East River Drive, East Hartford, CT 06108

Place to Park: Street parking excluding mural area

Attire: casual/work clothes & closed-toe shoes, gardening gloves, sun hat, sunscreen

Tools to Bring (optional): Shovel, Rake, Shears, outdoor broom etc.
