Let's Beat Breast Cancer

Every year, in the United States, an estimated 42,000 women lose their fight with breast cancer.

The Physicians Committe for Responsible Medicine (PCRM) has created a global movement to bring awareness to the 4-pronged approach for breast cancer prevention.

On June 9th, 2025 The American Medical Association (AMA) adopted a new policy co-drafted by PCRMs very own Dr. Neal Barnard. This policy encourages physicians to regularly discuss the benefits of lifestyle changes with patients.

Come learn about the 4 pronged approach to key lifestyle changes, enjoy delcious food samples, groove to the beat of the drums, and help us drive awareness to the 4 key factors of breast cancer prevention.

This event will last only one hour and coincides with the very last Peoria Riverfront Market of the season. So come join us for a fun one hour event and then partake in the cities largest Farmers Market along the Riverfront for one final time this season.
