Letcombe Bassett Open Gardens event has delighted visitors for many years now. We are excited to open this year and once again share our beautiful village with you.Meander around the wonderful, varied gardens in this downland village, then take a well earned break for tea and cake in the village hall.
Experience Letcombe Brook at its finest as it flows through a number of the gardens and stop to cheer on a duck in the renowned Bassett duck race. See where Jonathan Swift and Thomas Hardy gained inspiration in a village steeped in history. The beautiful 12th Century church, St Michael and All Angels, will be open to visitors, bedecked with flowers and offering a warm welcome to all.
We offer you our heartfelt greetings and look forward to sharing a unique insight to the place we call home.
Tickets are £5 per person, under 16's free entry with all proceeds going towards the Village Hall and Church funds. Free parking available.
