Urban gardening often includes dealing with derelict corners and strips that need constant weeding or mowing. While these problematic areas may not be as visible as your front yard, they can be annoying to a diligent gardener. Kathie will walk through her experience of planning and creating a flower garden from seed alongside the fence in our alley. She’ll share how she prepared the space, mapped the design, and chose the flowers, along with some tips and tricks on direct sowing flower seeds.
