Join Fr. Vince Mesi as we bring back a favorite Mission tradition, Lessons and Carols!
Lessons and Carols date back to the late 19th century. It’s been over 10 years since we’ve had this event at Mission San Luis Rey, and now you and your family can experience this beloved tradition.
Together, we will reflect on the biblical narration of the Fall, the Promise of a Messiah, the Incarnation of Christ, and the Great Commission to share the Good News. We will sing traditional Christmas carols with the company of Francisco Osio and the many beautiful voices of our parish community, all in the warmth and beauty of our Historic Mission Church.
Fresh-baked cookies and hot beverages will be provided after the prayer service.
