Lesbian Lifting Club

Let's get real, there's not a ton of LGBTQ+ events in North County, and even fewer that are geared specifically to sapphic/lesbian-identifying folk!

Lesbian Lifting Club is a monthly group workout event looking to fill that gap by providing a space for lesbian, queer, sapphic, bisexual, trans, and non-binary folk to get together and get strong together!

We'll meet at Boombox CrossFit in Escondido, and start with check in and ice breakers.

From there we'll move into a 1-1.5 hour strength focused full body workout. We will be mainly doing movements involving dumbells, barbells, and everything will be modifiable to meet you at your fitness level. This workout will be beginner and advanced athlete friendly and you will be guided through the movements by Jenna Petrungaro, a lesbian CrossFit athlete with over 10 years of experience in the sport.

Afterwards, we'll go through a cool down stretch, and if anyone is interested, hang out at The Barn Door Public House next door to the gym!
