The event will feature a panel discussion among the following five experts, all members of the LDEI Sacramento Chapter, who will provide science-based strategies to help both professional and home cooks navigate the holiday season with greater ease.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Les Dames d'Escoffier Sacramento Scholarship & Philanthropy Fund, which provides financial support for women in our community pursuing careers in agriculture, food production, culinary arts, nutrition, and more.

Meet Our Host and Panelists:

• Host: Amy Myrdal Miller, MS, RDN, FAND
  Award-winning dietitian, cookbook author, and founder of Farmer’s Daughter Consulting. Amy brings decades of experience in nutrition, research, and food industry leadership.
• Panelist: Lisa Falcone, RDN, CEC, CP-FS
  Registered dietitian and certified executive chef. National Director of Food Quality and Standards for Aramark Healthcare+, Lisa is passionate about “food as medicine” and farm-to-fork eating.
• Panelist: Vicky Flaig, MEd, RDN
  Director of Operations at Ronald McDonald House Charities Northern California. Vicky is an expert in community nutrition and food service management for families in need.
• Panelist: Linda J. Harris, Ph.D.
  Distinguished Professor Emeritus, UC Davis. Internationally recognized food safety expert, specializing in produce, tree nuts, and food chain safety.
• Panelist: Ashley Rosales, RDN
  Nutrition and Industry Affairs Officer for Dairy Council of California. Ashley builds healthier communities through science-based nutrition solutions.
