Leonard Cohen Retreat

Cohen is the psalmist of the 20th & 21st centuries. Join us LIVE for a day exploring his poetry & its import for the spiritual life!
About this Event

Leonard Cohen's poetry has resonated across the latter decades of 20th and early decades of the 21st centuries. Across all that time, he directed his considerable mind to exploring what it means to be a creature of flesh made in love by spiritual hands.

This retreat is a day dedicated to listening to, and talking about, Cohen and his insights. And as it unfolds, we will learn more about ourselves, more about God, and more about what it means to live in light of God.

For those who arrive on Friday, there will be a bonus session on spiritual themes in popular culture: music, television, and film.

Firday evening will include an opportunity to pray in an Orthodox chapel, while those who are able to stay over Sunday can find the consummation of all we uncover through Cohen in a celebration of the Divine Liturgy.

Come and meet Cohen. Come and meet new people. Come and learn more of what being human can mean!
