About this Event
This Lent, step away from the busyness of daily life and enter into a day of prayer and reflection at Immaculate Conception Parish’s Lenten Day Retreat.
Join us on Saturday, February 21, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM for a guided retreat focused on The Last Things: Death, Judgment, Heaven, and Hell.
The retreat will include:
- Holy Mass
- Eucharistic Adoration
- Time for private prayer and reflection
- Opportunity for the Sacrament of Confession
This day is open to all who wish to deepen their Lenten journey and grow in their relationship with Christ.

About the Speaker:
Fr. Mark Mannion is the Catholic Information Center’s Assistant Chaplain. He graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1986 with a degree in Business Administration, and he worked professionally for five years for Arthur Andersen as an auditor, and then sold personal computers and other technology before heading to the seminary in Rome. He studied in Rome and earned a degree in theology from the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross in 1993. Fr. Mark was ordained to the priesthood in 1995 and then earned his doctorate in philosophy from the University of Navarre in 1996. He has exercised his pastoral ministry preaching retreats, recollections and giving spiritual direction to priests and laity in a number of different cities in the United States including St. Louis, South Bend, Chicago, Berkeley, Los Angeles, and Washington, D.C. where he currently resides.
