Please join us on your Lenten journey for a Choral Evensong sung by the Calvary Choir and guest singers, under the direction of Gabriel Johnston, at 5 p.m.
Evensong will be preceded by an organ recital at 4:30 p.m. All proceeds will go toward the rebuilding of the music department, which was heavily affected by Hurricane Helene.
This Evensong is part of the 2025 Raymond Glover Grant for Episcopal Liturgical Music awarded to Gabriel Johnston for continuing education. This includes studies with Mr. Dwight Thomas, Canon for Music at the Cathedral of St. Peter, in Choral Evensong, Anglican chant, and liturgical improvisation.
