An evening of good food, good company, and 120+ years of community.
Once a month, Leif Erikson Lodge gathers at our historic Ballard hall for social hour, dinner, a cultural program, and the business of keeping Norwegian-American culture alive in Seattle. It's been happening here since 1903!
The evening:
- 5:30 PM – Social hour
- 6:00 PM – Dinner and program
- 7:00 PM – Business meeting
This month: October
Our guest speaker for the evening will be Arizona-based artist Jana Peterson, who will talk about her paintings that showcase her Norwegian heritage. A professional artist, she creates dramatic, vivid, and bold works that merge art and technology. Her many commissions have brought many Norwegian family homesteads to life. A selection of Jana's paintings will be on exhibit for this program, co-sponsored by the Seattle-Bergen Sister City Association.
Tickets are $30 and include dinner. Prepay online or choose the free "Pay at Door RSVP" ticket and pay $30 when you arrive (card via Square or cash). Please reserve by the Monday before the meeting so our kitchen knows how many to feed.
Never been? Guests are welcome! No membership, no Norwegian ancestry, no secret handshake required. Come eat well and see what a 123-year-old Norwegian-American community looks like in person.
