Come join us for Leiden Book Exchange. It’s kind of like a book club except less commitment. On the 4th Saturday of each month we gather at Hot Spot Central to talk and exchange books. It’s a great way to meet some new people, talk about all kinds of things. Primary language of books is English but all languages are welcome. The structure and expectations are simple:
Bring 0-5 books with you that you are happy to send out into the world for someone else to enjoy with no expectation of getting them back.
Have a beverage (you pay for your own). Talk with other people (it’s a good place to practice your English). And choose some books to take home. We read and shared all kinds of books—mostly fiction, but some non-fiction too and an occasional cookbook.
Only absolute rule is that if you bring a book and no one wants it this time you have to take it home. It happens.
