Lehigh Gorge Scenic Bike Train

Bring your hybrid or mountain bike and ride the bike train up through the stunning Lehigh Gorge from historic Jim Thorpe to White Haven. We’ll disembark there and peddle on the partly paved - partly crushed gravel D&L Trail back to Jim Thorpe. It’s 25 miles at a gentle 2% downgrade and most people do it in 2.5-3 hours. There should be fall foliage and we’ll ride past waterfalls with the Lehigh River below us. We’ll stop along the way for trail lunch/snacks and restrooms in Rockport.
Train tickets: $39. If you want to include a mountain bike and helmet rental it’s $66. You must reserve the bike train by phone with a credit card at

Parking: $25 per car at the municipal lot next to the train station. There’s also some free street parking if you arrive early.
