Arboretum members can explore a sprawling scene built of LEGO® bricks and watch the trains run along bustling avenues, between towering skyscrapers, and past colorful city gardens. Kids and adults alike will enjoy spotting Chicago landmarks and discovering the secrets held within this miniature world.
In partnership with the Northern Illinois LEGO Train Club, LEGO Trains will be on display from Saturday, January 24, and Sunday, January 25, in the Sycamore Room, near the Visitor Center on the Arboretum’s East Side.
Although the LEGO Trains Member Event is exclusive to Arboretum members, guests who are not members are encouraged to visit Juniper Junction, a large-scale model railroad display that is included with Arboretum admission and open to all.
Member Cost
Adult (18 and older): $8
Child (4 through 17): $7
Infant (3 and younger): Free
LEGO Trains Member Event tickets must be purchased online and in advance for a specific time slot.
Purchasing early is recommended, as this popular event is likely to reach capacity.
