About this Event

In this session, professionals from across the construction industry will play with LEGO together, using it as a discussion tool to find ways to overcome barriers to success as architects, builders, engineers and surveyors, experienced by women and other groups who encounter discrimination or feel excluded.

While having fun building your thoughts on the table, Lego Serious Play facilitator Rebecca Graaff will help participants to unpick the changes that need to happen to ensure a more equal workplace for all. We'll look at the benefits of inclusivity and explore the work of the Considerate Constructors Scheme and other industry best practice and inclusion initiatives.

This session is for both men and women who want to understand better the challenges, and what they can personally and professionally do to make a difference. We expect to have decision makers in the room as well as those early in their career who would like to start on the right foot and find some encouragement.

Crucially, we'll look at how each profession can best collaborate with the others to enact change that benefits the wider industry.

Our venue is accessible to those with mobility difficulties, with accessible toilets.
