Lego Club at Portishead Library

What to expect

Come along to fun, free sessions building your own Lego creations. We provide the bricks, you provide the imagination!

We do not have the space to keep half built creations week on week. So give yourselves an extra challenge to build something, perhaps as a group, in an hour. Why not take a photo and share it on social media?

Who can come

Lego is only suitable for children aged 4 and above. The small parts are a choking hazard. For safety reasons we ask that you do not bring under 4's to this activity. If younger children are in your family please ask staff for some Mega Blocks to play with in a separate space. You are encouraged to stay and play with your child because as well as being great fun these sessions are not supervised by staff. Please stay with your child if they are under 8. Numbers are limited so please book in your family group. Do let us know if your plans change and you can’t make it. If you've booked on Eventbrite it is easy to cancel, freeing up the space for someone else.

Lego and hygiene

We wash our Lego regularly but please keep our community safe by sanitising your own and your child's hands on entry and regularly throughout the session if you need to, and make space for each other. If you or your child are unwell, in line with public safety guidelines, please stay at home.

Additional support

Please let us know if your group has any additional support needs so that we can help you get the most out of the session.

Borrowing books

You will have an opportunity to borrow books, so do bring your library card. If you’d like to join the library, bring ID with your address on it. Children don't need ID to join.

About the venue

Portishead Library is accessible, including a disabled toilet and baby change. Blue badge parking spaces are near the front of the library. You are welcome to feed your child here.
