While the group officially formed for the 2025 New Times Music Awards, their immediate chemistry earned them the "Performance of the Night" award, igniting a momentum that hasn’t slowed since.
Fronted by the dynamic duo of rapper Gehrig Kniffen and DJ Tommy de Silva, the Legion’s roster reads like a "who’s who" of regional legends. The lineup features the rhythmic precision of drummer Gerald Purify (The Vibe Setters, Groove Collective), the soulful versatility on keys, vocals and bass of KB and David Escamilla (IMVA), and the melodic edge of guitarist/vocalist Ezra Henderson.
