Legendary Songs and Stories of John Simon

Music lovers are invited to enjoy an unforgettable afternoon of music and storytelling as, back by popular demand, legendary producer, composer, pianist, and songwriter John Simon performs at the Emerson Center on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at 4:00 p.m.

One of the most influential record producers of the 1960s and beyond, Simon is best known for his work with iconic artists including The Band, Janis Joplin, Leonard Cohen, Blood, Sweat & Tears, and Simon & Garfunkel. His remarkable career also includes composing for film and Broadway, releasing seven albums of original music, and performing throughout the United States and abroad.

During this special performance, audiences will enjoy Simon's witty, piano-driven songs interwoven with captivating stories from a lifetime in music. His performances combine exceptional musicianship, humor, and heartfelt storytelling, offering a rare opportunity to experience the creative force behind some of the most memorable recordings of the past six decades.
