Our Legacy of Jazz series returns October 24-25 with internationally acclaimed jazz vocalist and saxophonist Camille Thurman. Hailed as "a rare jazz double threat" by NPR, Camille will be joined by The Christian Tamburr Quartet, bringing to life the timeless music of jazz legends Sarah Vaughan and Dexter Gordon. Expect a few of her own surprises, as well.
“You’re hard-pressed to find rising talents more exciting than Camille Thurman,” said the The New York Times.
Described by DownBeat Magazine with the fitting comparison, “Imagine if Sarah Vaughan played saxophone like Dexter Gordon.” Imagine no more, and get your tickets to see Camille live at The Cary. Two performances!
