Legacy Business Happy Hour Series: Poor House Bistro

Free for PAC*SJ members and those curious to learn more. RSVPs encouraged.

Join the Preservation Action Council of San José (PAC*SJ) on Thursday, May 21 from 4:30pm to 7:00pm for our next Legacy Business Happy Hour at The Poor House Bistro in Little Italy. We'll be joined on the outdoor patio by owner Jay Meduri, who opened Poor House Bistro in 2005, transforming the Victorian home that had been in the family since the 1940s into today’s restaurant. Also the Italian Speakeasy (which shares the same lot) will be open, and the president of Little Italy San Jose, Joshua Melander, will tell us about Little Italy’s growth and history. The Italian Museum will also be open for a guided visit!

Legacy Business Happy Hours are a chance for PAC*SJ members and prospective members to connect with fellow preservationists, history enthusiasts, and community members in unique, historic settings, all while supporting a legacy business. Share ideas, build new relationships, and learn how PAC*SJ is working to protect the places that matter most.
