Legacy & LUXE: Regatta Reimagined

Join us on July 31, 2026 at 6:00 PM at Innovation Hall as we kick off Reunion Weekend with an unforgettable evening of culture, style, and celebration. Our inaugural Legacy & Luxe charity event brings together alumni, supporters, and the community for a night that reflects the energy, pride, and tradition - with proceeds supporting OKC Black Alumni Coalition's programming and scholarships.

The evening will highlight OBAC’s REAP Honorees, recognizing individuals whose leadership and service continue to strengthen our community, alongside a curated fashion showcase.

This year's R.E.A.P. Honorees are:

• Relationships - Porsha Burden, Robyn Alfred, & Karen Wilson (Co-Founders of OBAC)
• Excellence - Brandon Denton (Executive Director, Alpha Community Foundation)
• Advocacy - D'Andre Foster (Education & Community Advocate)
• Placemaking - Danell Tipton, James "JRid" Ridley, & Marcous Friday (Founders, National Black Cowboy Rodeo Awards)

Guests are encouraged to dress and embrace the elevated atmosphere of Black regatta culture. Enjoy a live fashion showcase, great music, and delicious food as we celebrate fellowship, legacy, and community. It’s the perfect way to begin an exciting Reunion Weekend in style.

Your evening begins starting at 5:30PM with an exclusive Black Carpet Experience, hosted by The Vanguart, featuring stylish photo opportunities, pre-show appetizers by Roski Toasty, and live musical renditions that set the stage for an unforgettable night.
