Flyout to visit the Udvar-Hazy Museum at Washington Dulles airport. We plan to fly into Leesburg Executive Airport (KJYO) and take a short rideshare to and from the museum. Plan to arrive at Leesburg by 10:00am. Note that KJYO is just inside the Washington DC Special Flight Rules Area (SFRA) which requires a simple on-line awareness training before going. This training takes less than an hour to complete and is available through the FAA WINGS program at:https://www.faasafety.gov/gslac/ALC/CourseLanding.aspx?cID=405
An informational meeting is planned for Saturday, May 9th, to review the trip and procedures. All are welcome.
