Welcome to the Lee & Zimmy Classic 2024 event page! Please join and follow along as we take time to celebrate the lives of our two dear friends Lee and Zimmy.
This year we will be donating to one of Zimmy’s family members, Robert David Chuchra-Zbytniuk, aka Davey. He is currently finishing up treatment for Stage 3 Gastro Esophageal Cancer. He's been faithfully coming each year to the Lee & Zimmy Classic and also helped to drive Feather up from NC for many years so she could attend this tournament. Let’s show him some of that same kindness and support!
THEME:
Retro Jerseys!! Wear your favorite jersey from your high school, club, college, or pro days. Can't wait to break out the college warm up jacket...!
TOURNAMENT DATE AND LOCATION:
October 19, 2024 (8am-8pm) at Virginia Volleyball Center (Home of NVVA)
FORMAT:
Reverse 4s (2 women, 2 men); max 6 players total. This year we will have 3 levels:
- Open level (10 teams/2courts)
- AA level (10 teams/2 courts)
- A level (10 teams/2 courts)
PAYMENT:
$55 per participating player. All money goes to operating costs, players packs, and of course the donation to Robert!
REGISTRATION:
Registration will open on Friday, September 6th at 10am (EST). We have room for 6 COURTS so registration will go fast! The registration process will be through VolleyballLife.com again. Please check back for the link.
