🎤 Speaker: Dan Breen
Join us for a captivating evening with Dan Breen as he recounts the monumental journey of Apollo 8, which made history on December 24, 1968, when Frank Borman, James Lovell, and Bill Anders became the first people to orbit the Moon. This achievement went beyond mere exploration; it allowed humanity to truly see the Moon for the first time, a celestial body that has fascinated us for millennia.
Dan will share the incredible story of Apollo 8, highlighting its significance in human history and the profound impact of the mission's televised broadcast, which resonated with a quarter of the world's population.
