About this Event
Snow Blind And Alone Near The Summit Of Mt. Everest
Seeking a new challenge at the conclusion of his career as a Navy aviation rescue swimmer, Brian Dickinson took up mountaineering. His intention was the "seven summits" - climbing the highest peak on each continent.
He never could have imagined what was in store for him on the world's tallest mountain.
Come hear his epic tale in person aboard Battleship IOWA Saturday, January 18, 2025 at 11:00 AM.
Brian's written books about his experiences - Blind Descent and Calm In The Chaos: true tales from elite U.S. Navy aviation rescue swimmers. They will be available for purchase at the event, or you can find them at all the usual booksellers. (Yes, he's willing to sign them.)
Want a warm up for this talk? Check out Brian's brand new podcast, "Calm in the Chaos."
