Don’t forget the forthcoming AGM of the Arthur Bliss Society on Sunday 29 September at the Ivor Gurney Hall, King’s School, Gloucester GL1 2BG starting at 1:40pm with drinks before a lecture/recital by Mark Bebbington on the 20th Century Romantic British Piano Concerto at 2pm with AGM to follow. Please see the Society’s website for more information. Mark will be performing the Bliss Piano Concerto on three occasions in Nottingham, Liverpool and London over forthcoming months. Learn how plans are developing for the 50 for 50 celebrations centred on 2025 including the world premiere of the Viola Concerto by Timothy Ridout in July 2025 and four performances at the Hereford Three Choirs Festival.
