Presentation Summary: Some things can't be explained. Some things can only be experienced. Join us for a frightfully good time as we look at some of the more spine-tingling stories from Casselberry's haunted past.
Presenter Name: Dr. Deborah L. Bauer
Presenter Bio: Deborah L. Bauer is a Florida historian who holds a doctoral degree from the University of South Florida and two Masters degrees from the University of North Florida and University of Central Florida. She has published several articles and book reviews about the history of colonial Florida in such publications as The Florida Historical Quarterly, Florida Studies, and Southeastern Archaeology. She is currently working on preparing a manuscript version of her doctoral dissertation for publication. The manuscript is entitled "Trial & Error: Royal Authority and Families in the Colonization of British Florida, 1763-1784." Bauer currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the Seminole County Historical Society, president of the Society for Historic Casselberry, and president of the Central Florida Anthropological Society. She was appointed to the Seminole County Historical Commission for a two-year term beginning in 2023.
