About this Event
Leaving An Impression: Flower Fossil Ornaments
Come join us at The Landcraft Garden Foundation for a hands-on workshop where you can create your very own flower fossil ornaments! Flower fossils are the impressions of actual flowers and other plant parts then cast in plaster to make raised three-dimensional forms like the original. Exquisitely detailed, these casts make beautiful wall art or ornaments; they can be pieces in your own collection of memorabilia or personalized gifts to others. Join Head Gardener Kerry Ann McLean in the execution of these fun to make botanical gems just in time to share with family and friends for the holidays. This in-person event will provide all the materials you need to craft your unique ornaments. Get ready to leave a lasting impression with your beautiful creations!
Kerry Ann McLean is Landcraft Garden Foundation’s Head Gardener. Trained at Longwood Gardens, Kennett Square, PA, Kerry Ann brings to the North Fork years of experience as a grounds and estate manager, public gardener, Horticulture Specialist for W.
