Leaving a Mark
About this Event
Waupaca Story Project (WSP) is seeking storytellers! Join us for this LIVE storytelling event: Monday, August 10, 2026 at 6:30pm and share your personal story that fits the theme of “Leaving a Mark". We’re looking for true, personal stories about moments that left a mark, perhaps a physical mark, a figurative mark, an artistic mark, something that became memorable and you carry with you! CREATIVE interpretation of the theme is always welcomed and encouraged!
Do you want to be one of the featured storytellers? You don't have to be an experienced storyteller to join. Give it a try!
Please read the story submission guidelines below:
-What to Submit
Please include the following in an email to: [email protected] by Sunday, August 2, 2026.
1. A story summary (at least 4–5 sentences)
This should CLEARLY outline the narrative arc—how the story begins, what happens, and how it ends.
2. An emotional description of the story (if you have one)
Examples:
“A tender, bittersweet story about a missed connection,” or
“A heavy, gut-punch story about losing my home.”
3. A short bio about yourself. (no more than 3 lines) You may eventually be asked for more, but this is a good place to start.
