A certified Leave-No-Trace Awareness Course will be offered to anyone who would like to learn practical skills and ethics to minimize environmental impact while enjoying the outdoors. You learn all about the Seven Principles of Leave No Trace, focusing on responsible recreation, sustainability, and reducing your footprint in nature. Over 6 hours we will move around various habitats and will demonstrate through hands-on learning.
There will be a vegetarian light lunch offered, along with tea/coffee and 'goodies'.
The course is for anyone who loves being in the outdoors, as in hiking, cycling, camping or water-sports to be able to make conscious and low-impact choices.
Minimum age is 16 +++
