Learning Neighbourhood Fund Launch
About this Event
Join us for the launch of the Learning Neighbourhood Fund, a new initiative designed to help community organisations embed learning, skills, and progression opportunities within local neighbourhoods. The fund supports organisations to strengthen existing activities, build capacity, and make learning more visible, accessible, and available to residents across Manchester.
At this event, you will:
- Learn about the funding opportunities available
- Explore the new Learning Menu of support developed by Manchester City Council's Work & Skills team and its partners
- Hear about the vision for creating learning-rich communities
- Find out how your organisation can get involved and contribute to the city-wide learning movement
There will also be opportunities to share ideas and discover practical resources to help bring learning closer to where people live, work, and connect, as well as meeting learning partners, including:
- Manchester City Council's Work & Skills team
- Manchester City Council's Digital Inclusion team
- Greater Manchester Learning Provider Network
- University of Manchester
This event is aimed at Voluntary, Community, Faith, and Social Enterprise groups and organisations, or anyone working with communities at a neighbourhood level. Come along to find out how you can access the learning funding available and become part of Manchester's growing Learning Neighbourhood movement.
