Learning and Development through the eyes of volunteers

The aim will be to challenge perceptions, identify opportunities, and dispel myths about the L&D investment in volunteers. With reference to case studies, CIPD principles, and input from speakers with direct experience, you will leave the event with practical suggestions as to what you and your organisation might do differently, to achieve a win-win outcome.

By train

Slateford station is just under a mile from the campus, while Edinburgh Waverley and Haymarket stations are situated in the city centre. From Edinburgh Waverley, take a Lothian Buses 4 or 10 from Princes Street or a 45 from North Bridge; from Haymarket, take a Lothian Buses 4 from Dalry Road.

By bike

Edinburgh is home to an expanding network of cycle paths. There are covered and secure bike storage as well as shower facilities available at the campus. The publishes useful information on planning cycle routes within the city.

Ample parking is available on site in the evenings.
