Tuesday spring holiday workshops for families and young people aged up to 16 years old.Playing ukulele is great fun and simpler than guitar! In this 2 day workshop you'll learn how to navigate the 4 strings and play simple songs. You can even borrow a ukulele to take home afterwards!
Workshop format
This is a 2-day workshop block for families and young people aged 8-16. Young people can come on their own, but their guardians can join in too, if they wish.
When you're booking please give the names of everyone who will be part of the class.
By signing up you are committing to attending both lessons in the block.
Lesson dates:
Tuesday 7 April 11am - 12pm
Tuesday 14 April 11am - 12pm
Please arrive 15 minutes before the start of each lesson so we can begin promptly.
There is no charge for this workshop, however donations are gratefully received. You can make a donation at the cash box at the library.
IMPORTANT: Spaces are limited, so please only book if you are serious about attending.
This is a free workshop funded by We Make Music Scotland.
Borrow your instrument
If you'd like to take your instrument home to practice, you can do this if you're a library member. Not a member? Guardians of attendees should bring along something official that shows their name and home address.
