Learn to Vibe Code in 1-Day (Workshop)

Join us for a 1-day in-person workshop where you'll get hands-on experience, boost your skills and ultimately design and launch your first app!

• Understand the vibe-coding landscape
• Get comfortable with vibe-coding tools
• Learn about the end to end process
• Build, design and launch your own app
• Get tips and tricks that will make your vibe coding journey easier
• Discover how to overcome common problems and obstacles
• Know where to get further (advanced) help when you need it

This workshop is delivered by Simon Edwards and Dan Akers. Simon and Dan have both previously been developers, run digital media agencies and now use vibe-coding tools to design and deploy real world applications.

They regularly deliver AI workshops locally and also run the Greenhouse "AI Show 'n' Tell" event series and AI community.

• A Replit Account - We will be using Replit as the primary tool. Whilst you can setup an account on the day, it will be advantageous if you create one in advance. You will also need a Teams or Core membership and ensure that you have a payment card added to the platform. Your new account will come with some free and monthly credits as part of your new membership. You'll likely not exceed this on the day but just in case (your app might be very complicated) please make sure you have card added to the account. You can also sign up using our referral link which will give you a bonus $10 credit.
• No previous vibe-coding experience - This is for people who are at the beginning of their journey. If you have already begun vibe-coding then this might not be for you. Please get in touch and ask before booking so we can help you work out if this is for you.
• Laptop - You will need your own laptop. Speed and power is not too much of a concern as Replit will do the work on the server side. You typically just need a browser like Chrome. We'll provide WiFi on the day.
