About this Event
Former Senior-in-Residence and textile artist Mei Choi is returning to Mackin House Museum for another workshop on hand stitching and upcycling.
Learn to hand stitch one-of-a-kind boro patches using the sashiko technique. Use these patches to decorate an upcycled denim tote bag, and yes you get to take the bag home with you!
Saturday, April 18th from 1 PM - 3 PM
$20 Per Person. Registration Required.

*All skill levels welcome but please note this is a beginner level sewing workshop.
About Mackin House Museum:
Mackin House Museum (operated by Coquitlam Heritage Society) is a museum based out of a 1909 Heritage House originally belonging to the Sales Manager of the Fraser Mill. The house now serves as a community event space, hosts exhibits, and generally works to share the joint culture and history of the diverse city of Coquitlam.
