Elastic Waist Pants Workshop

In this weekend workshop, you'll create your very own pair of elastic waist pants from start to finish using a pattern!

Designed for beginner to intermediate sewists, some prior experience with a sewing machine is necessary — you should feel comfortable with the basics before jumping in.

Through hands-on lessons, you'll learn to follow a pattern, cut and prep your fabric, and stitch everything together into a finished garment.

Small class size, capped at five students, allow for everyone to receive plenty of one-on-one guidance.

By the end of the course, you'll complete your very own custom elastic waist pants while gaining the confidence to tackle more garment sewing on your own.
Topics Covered:

• Digital patterns 101
• Cutting techniques 
• Pockets
• Serger machine basics

What's Included:

• All fabric and thread needed for your project
• You will receive an A0 (large paper copy) so you can use it agian\
• Step-by-step demonstrations and individual guidance
• Use of cutting tools, measuring tools, and pins

What to Bring:

• A sewing machine in good working order (machines available upon request)
• At least one bobbin compatible with your machine
• A packed lunch and a water bottle.
