Learn to Sew/Develop your Sewing Skills with Marrit

6 week sewing course suitable for beginners or those with more experience. The sessions are every Wednesday 10am-1pm, commencing on 11th September 2024 (other dates are 18th Sept, 25th Sept, 2nd Oct, 9th Oct, 16th Oct) . All courses are run in the beautiful craft room at The Cowshed in Rubra 2, Mulberry Business Park, Fishponds Road, Wokingham. Plenty of Parking available. Projects can vary depending on skill level but may include learning :

To use a sewing machine

Create a stitch directory

Make triangle bunting

Make a fabric bowl

Make coasters / sleep mask

Make a tote bag with appliqué decoration, and pocket

The use of our sewing machines, along with fabric and thread from our donated collection are included. Some projects may include such items as wadding, binding and zips which you will need to provide, your tutor will advise.

The courses will continue throughout the year, allowing you the opportunity to continue your sewing journey if you choose to.
