Instructor LeVar Johnson guides students through the basics of learning to sew on a sewing machine to create two to four upcycled and hemmed cloth squares that can be used as cloth napkins, handkerchiefs, neckerchiefs or other decor. How many you make will depend on your pace as you develop your skills. On the second day, learn to apply a variety of patterns using shibori dye resist techniques to your sewn cloths, following up with a dip in the deep blue indigo dye vat.
