About this Event
This small-group workshop introduces beginners to the core Nordic walking technique, while experienced walkers can refine their skills. Based on the International Nordic Walking Federation’s 10-step method, the session will also be an opportunity to learn how Nordic walking can support your health and fitness goals.
Suitable for all fitness levels. No experience needed – just wear comfy clothes and walking shoes.
What you’ll get:
✔ Introduction to/re-cap of the Nordic walking technique using the 10 step method of INWA (the International Nordic Walking Federation)
✔ Expert instruction by Vicky Welsh, INWA National Coach and author of Let's Walk Nordic
✔ Use of Nordic walking poles (provided)
✔ Gentle, effective exercise outdoors
✔ Friendly, welcoming atmosphere
