Learn to Make a Traditional Italian Christmas Treat - Struffoli/Pignolata

Learn to make one of the most traditional Southern Italian Christmas desserts.

Called "Struffoli", "Pignolata", "Cicerchiata" depending on the southern Italian region they are made - these fried balls of sweet dough are covered in honey and arranged into festive wreaths or topped with sprinkles for a sweet and delicious holiday dessert display.

In this hands-on class you will make the sweet dough and then learn how to shape, fry and form the Struffoli.

Everyone will go home with their very own creation in time for the holidays.

All participants receive a Recipe Book via email after the class with the recipes so you can go home and share this with your loved ones for the holiday season.

Daniela is a 1st generation Italian American who moved to NC from Clearwater, Florida where she grew up in her family’s Italian market. That is where Daniela grew a love for baking, cooking and hospitality. She now owns her own businesses Ds Corner Kitchen, where she offers weekly meal prep services. She also owns Baked By D and loves keeping Italian traditions alive by offering classic Italian baked good. Having baked a long side her Italian mother for most of her life, she is excited to share everything she’s learned over the years with people who attend her Italian cookie classes.

All classes are non-refundable; however, we can move your registration to a different date if you are unable to make it to the class (must give us 7 days notice).
