Learn to Knit Socks, Thursday, February 19, 25, March 12, 19, 2026, 5:30-7:00 pmNow expanded to 4 sessions, this class to be held Thursday, February 19, 25, March 12, 19, 2025, 5:30-7:00 pm will teach you the foundation skills to become a sock knitter. Learn the basic "recipe" for knitted socks using the magic-loop method. During this class you will learn the "vanilla" sock pattern which used top-down construction, with a heel flap and gusset, and kitchener-stitched toes.
Cost: $70 for four sessions
Skill Level: Adventurous Beginner
Experience Required: This is not a beginning knitting class. Students must be comfortable casting on, knitting, purling and reading a pattern.
Special Techniques: Ribbing, short rows, picking up stitches, basic decreases, kitchener stitch
Materials Provided: Knitting needles, a ball of yarn and notions are included in the class fee.
