Young Adult, Adult - Minimum 2, Limit 8 - No experience required.

Knitting is a fun, relaxing and meditative fiber art. The earliest examples of knitting date from the 11th century in Egypt. The skill quickly spread and distinctive knitting traditions developed up around the world, each one with unique patterns, textures and elements. In this class you will learn the basics of knitting - knit and purl stitch, how to cast on and bind off stitches to make fabric from yarn.

Materials: Yarn and knitting needles are included.
