Learn to Knit in September
9/11, 9/18, 9/25; Wednesday evenings from 6pm-8pm at Casting On
During class students will create a Beautiful and wearable cowl, all while learning how to:
-cast-on
-knit
-purl
-read a pattern
-select the right yarn
-learn about gauge and sizing -bind off
-weave in ends
-identify and fix some mistakes
-increasing techniques
-decreasing techniques
-knitting a cable!
Cost:
The cost of the class is $60 per student, due at time of sign up to secure spot in class.
Materials to purchase before class, available at Casting On:
-100g of yarn that is worsted weight or thicker.
-Circular knitting needles that are 16" long, and that are the appropriate size for the yarn selected. The yarn label should recommend which size to use.
Class size is limited to 10 students
