Learn to Knit Class

In this class you will learn the basics of knitting which includes casting on knitting purling casting off weaving in your ends and finishing. This is the perfect class if you have never knitted or if it has been years since you last picked up needles and you just need a refresher! You will be getting started on a scarf called the Easy Mistake Stitch Scarf. Consisting of knits and purls the mistake rib stitch is a great beginner stitch. Super easy to remember the stitch pattern is just a one row repeat perfect for enjoyable knitting that you don't have to think much about. The mistake rib stitch produces a lofty squishy fabric and though it may look complicated it’s surprisingly easy to knit!

Two skeins of Snuggle an alpaca blend yarn are needed for the scarf and are included in the fee for the class. Lots of pretty colors to choose from!

This class will meet on two different days with time in between to practice what you've learned.
