Join us at Ericson Library on Tuesday October 28th at 6:30pm to learn to junk journal. Free to attend & all supplies provided, while supplies last. Brenda Walters will share her junk journaling experience, show examples & assist those attending in starting their own junk journal. Program open to Tweens, Teens & Adults in the Children's Dept. Activity Room. Junk journaling is a form of scrapbooking or art journaling where you create a unique journal book using found, recycled, and ephemera materials like old books, magazines, postcards, and tickets. The "junk" aspect refers to the use of discarded or repurposed items to give them new life as part of a creative, expressive, and often therapeutic process, focusing on collage, mixed-media, and personalized documentation rather than perfection.
