Learn to Dance Salsa in SoHo - improvers Forró!

OCTOBER - time for a new style! We're running an IMPROVERS Forró class and social! Our first dance style from BRAZIL!
We are planning an awesome three-week block of Forró classes, starting this Friday!
This block is for dancers with some experience in a different style of partner dancing, not total beginners. If you're confidently dancing socially to Salsa, Bachata, Zouk, or Kizomba, you will be fine with the level of this block. Note, this dance style involves closed embrace and it's pretty close - if you're not comfy with close contact, this style might not be for you. We will make sure safety measures and boundaries are clear and communicated during the class.
We love introducing new styles and music - if you can recognise and do the basics in a range of styles, you have so many more opportunities to dance! Forró is from Brazil, songs are sung in Portuguese, and the dance has some similarities to Zouk and Cumbia. Come and learn more!
Sign-ups are required. We cap class sizes to 14 students as we believe this is best environment for learning.
