To celebrate my little man who will be here soon, I am hosting a crochet workshop in which I'll be teaching how to crochet a beanie. We're going to focus on a baby beanie because it works up fairly quickly, but you can use the techniques I will teach to make a beanie in any size - perfect timing for holiday gifts!Make a baby beanie for one of your own little ones or leave it with me to donate to Creations from the Heart for Orlando Health and the Winnie Palmer Hospital.
Crocheted beanies can be easy to make, but I do not recommend them until you are comfortable working basic stitches in rows back and forth and have a consistent tension. As an alternative project for beginners (even if you've never crocheted before), I will also have a crochet pattern for a prayer square. I will be making some of these to donate to Creations from the Heart as well.
Please bring an H8/5mm crochet hook with you, or I have some for purchase in the shop. Yarn will be provided while supplies last.
Free to attend. Seating is limited. Please bring a chair with you in case there aren't any available.
