Random Weave Baskets with Becky StevensOctober 5th, 10am to 4pm.
All materials will be provided.
Random weave technique is fun, expressive, intuitive, organic, and meditative. Fall in love with this free-form, contemporary approach to basket making. Your finished piece can be sculptural or utilitarian. We’ll use basket reed which is a forgiving material to begin with and minimal tools. After you’ve mastered the basics you can easily apply them to foraged materials. No basket weaving experience is required.
Earlybird Registration: $65 (through Labor Day)
Registration begining September 3rd: $75.
Please bring small garden pruners if you have them and an old towel.
