Learn Rhythm and Sounds at Music Workshop for Tots

Music for Tots is a fun, interactive early childhood music program designed for toddlers and young children and their parents or caregivers. Hosted in our downtown neighborhood at The Boston Synagogue. This welcoming program combines music, movement, and Jewish community—creating a joyful space for little ones to learn and families to connect.

Led by local professional musicians, Music for Tots introduces children to rhythm, song, and hands-on instrument play in a developmentally appropriate and engaging way. Through music, children strengthen essential early learning skills while building confidence and creativity.

Music plays a powerful role in early childhood development. Our Music for Tots program supports:

• Language development through singing and repetition
• Motor skills and coordination through movement and dance
• Listening and focus through rhythm and musical play
• Social and emotional growth through shared group experiences
• Parent-child bonding in a relaxed, supportive environment

No musical experience is required—just curiosity, energy, and a love of fun!

During each Music for Tots session, children will:

• Dance and move to music
• Explore age-appropriate musical instruments
• Sing songs led by professional musicians
• Engage in playful, interactive music activities

Parents, grandparents, and caregivers are encouraged to participate, mingle, and enjoy the experience together.
Light snacks are available for children, and drinks are provided for adults.

Music for Tots is more than a music class—it’s a chance to build community. Families have the opportunity to connect with other Jewish families in the area while sharing meaningful experiences with their children in a warm, family-friendly setting.
