Over six weeks, we’ll cover the core footwork, defensive and offensive techniques of Italian rapier, according to the 17th century system of Francesco Antonio Marcelli.
Classes will focus on the practical application of these fundamentals as well as universally applicable tactical concepts for fencing. 🎓
We’ll also give you a chance to put those skills to the test in a safe and friendly environment, and get newcomers ready to have their first bouts. 🤺
This class is suitable for all levels, whether you’re completely new to the scene or a seasoned historical fencer looking to brush up on your skills. All equipment will be provided so just come as you are and we’ll teach you the rest. 🎒
